Life is a journey. Everyone is on a path of their own. Be aware of your path. However, there is something that many people know, and many people don't. There are certain properties to these paths. There are different types of paths that you can experience throughout your journeying. While the concept of these paths is largely symbolic, there is a deep truth behind their implication.
There is one chief Path that all paths parallel. This is the Illuminated Path. When you're on the Path, it's beautiful and exciting. The illumination is the brightness and lightness you feel when you're on it. It feels good. It feels correct. It feels like proper alignment. This is the experience of the Path. This is characteristic of proper alignment. When you're on the right path, you know it.
The Universe helps you. It wants to help you. It escorts you. It wants to propel you forward, and it will accelerate you. However, when you are not on the Path, things are different.
When you're not on the proper path, it gets rough. It gets shaky. It gets frustrating. It's like the rough of a golf course. The farther you get from the
smooth green, the more difficult the course becomes. This is an expectation of the course. Similarly, the
farther out of alignment you are from the proper Path, the more
challenging the other paths become as well. This is a description that one must expect and anticipate of the lesser paths. This is how it goes. Much of the
strife and struggle we experience is a result of our lack of willingness to align with
the Path. The difficulty is not out of discipline or consequence, as many seem to believe. It is simply the
nature of the lesser paths. The frustrations occur not as the effect of any one particular cause, but rather as a natural property to be expected. One road is easy, the others are not. When you're not on the Path, it's rough, it's rocky; there are brambles. It's supposed to be more difficult by nature of not being the One.
Everything the Universe does is a guide to get us on the
Path. Even conflict is part of the Universe's guardrail and guidance
system to ensure that we stay properly balanced. The Universe will behave like a car GPS if we are not going in the proper direction. Rather than angrily disciplining us, the Universe kindly says: "Recalibrating" and develops a new detour for us to follow to ensure we return to the Path. The Path does take a
bit of effort, however, it is no more than being mindful of the route markers and appropriate detours that would return us. Because it is meant to be easy, any effort is an easy mindfulness to be grateful and to continually pursue that which brings us happiness and not harm. The Universe will reinforce whatever you emit. Love draws the Path toward you, and Fear pulls it away. When you behave as though aligned, the Universe will draw you nearer to that which you seek.
There are numerous examples of how people have discovered their personal path. These are the inspiring stories of what happens when one follows a passion. Once there, they notice how much easier things can become. Once there, their eyes are opened to see the contrast in other paths and the frustrations of falling away from it. The Universe invites you to join it in the journey. The Path is Illuminated, let it guide you.
What is this blog about?
There is no such thing as an expert on the topic of Life. We all have had our battles, our suffering, and our questions. Despite the uniqueness of our personal obstacles, we have endured them. We have endured them well enough to advise those behind us as to how to do the same. I have done the research on your behalf regarding the multitude of reasons why wisdom exists. My mission is to utilize the voices of the world's greatest thinkers and heroes to compose a guideline of life's wisdom so that you don't have to experience those trials alone.
If you have any questions, please tweet them to me @JoeSielski or email me at DelawareGLU@gmail.com
(Please title your email with the word "Wisdom" so I know it will be for this blog.)
I will do my best to try and answer every question as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thanks.
